Zoo Educator Named National Geographic Grosvenor Fellow
Twenty-five highly respected educators from the US and Canada have been selected as this year’s Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic Education Grosvenor Teacher Fellows. The Fellows will take expeditions to locations such as Iceland, Greenland and Antarctica, sailing aboard the ship National Geographic Explorer, for hands-on experience, professional development, and what most would say, a trip of a lifetime. Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Lead Education Program Developer Sarah Navarro is among that select group of 25, and is preparing for an expedition to the Canadian Maritimes. She and Nina Page, National Geographic Society Education project manager, join us to talk about the program, and the adventures in store for this year’s Fellows.
