While receding flood waters are leaving behind plenty of mud and debris, causing big clean-ups along the Ohio, work on Cincinnati's Smale Riverfront Park isn't being affected.
"All of the construction personnel have been pulled back to the Carousel and the new Anderson Pavilion," says Parks Public Information Officer Joyce Kamen. "They are working away to accomplish all they can on those two sites."
Once the Ohio is back in its banks, Kamen says work will resume on the portions of the park closer to the river.
She says all openings planned for this spring and summer remain on schedule at this point.
