What keeps us awake nights

The average person spends one third of life sleeping. But for many a good night’s sleep is elusive, due to stress, snoring, sleep apnea or other health problems. Even diet and exercise can affect how long or well we sleep. Joining us to discuss the things that can keep us awake at night, and how sleep disorders are identified and treated, is Dr. Victoria Surdulescu, director of the University of Cincinnati Sleep Medicine Center.

Maryanne Zeleznik is responsible for all news and public affairs programming at WVXU. She also hosts Morning Edition Monday through Friday.
