An update on the contentious and expensive Kentucky race for U.S. Senate

  

The race for the U.S. Senate seat of Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is becoming one of the most-watched 2014 election contests in the country. The campaigns of both Senator McConnell and his opponent, Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, are out swinging hard with attack ads, and the race looks to be the most expensive ever in the state. Kentucky?'s traditional political outing, the Fancy Farm Picnic, is less than ten days away, so we wanted to take a look at how the Senate race is going, with Cincinnati Enquirer Politics and Kentucky Government reporter Scott Wartman.
