TriHealth plans to open a new hospital next year that will focus on spinal cord and brain injuries, neurological disorders and musculoskeletal conditions.
Spokesman Joe Kelley says the new rehabilitation facility will be in Keystone Parkealong Interstate 71 and Dana Avenue. He says TriHealth already does rehab at Bethesda North and Good Samaritan and when the new hospital opens, those rehab facilities will move into the Evanston hospital.
This is a joint venture between TriHealth andSelect Medical, a provider of specialized acute and post-acute care. Once approved by both parties, it will create a limited liability company. Select Medical will serve as the managing partner for the 60-bed facility.
The TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital is expected to open by late 2015.
