Miami Valley Hospital has found lead in its water during routine testing. The hospital is temporarily discontinuing use of water in the affected parts of its facility.

According to Public Health of Dayton and Montgomery County, several tests were conducted by the Ohio EPA and the results have been inconsistent, though some did find levels higher than what is considered acceptable. At least one follow up test showed the levels had decreased. A third returned inconsistent results.

The hospital is not using the water in the affected areas and is bringing in bottled water.

Previous tests in December showed no problems.

Dayton officials say anyone living near the hospital who's concerned about their own water should contact the city for testing.
