Lots of big bands on this week's show....masters like Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Buddy Rich.  There are also a number of wonderful vocalists featured including in the first set: Al Jolson, Julie London, John Pizzarelli and Patti Austin.  The first set also includes "That Old Feeling" by Billy Eckstine.  The second half of the Swing show begins with Anita O'Day's "It's DeLovely," followed by Rod Stewart, Les Brown, and Peggy Lee.  Doris Day and Buddy Rich bring the one-hour swing show to a conclusion.

Here's some background information on Billy Eckstine from IMBd:

Billy Eckstine was born on July 8, 1914 in Pittsburgh,  as William Clarence Eckstein. He was married to Carolle Drake and June Harris and died on March 8, 1993 in Pittsburgh.

Billy Eckstine was inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame in 1985. He was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6638 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, CA and was a close friend of jazz singer Sarah Vaughan.

Billy Eckstine, who was a singer, trumpeter and valve trombonist, first came to note with the band of Earl 'Fatha' Hines in the 1930's. He formed his own bebop-oriented band in 1943 on the advice of Budd Johnson. Most recordings the band made were of ballads, sung by Eckstine in his trademark deep baritone voice.  Eckstine went on to record for Motown and Stax in the 1960's.
