Get ready for another weekend of traffic delays on southbound 471 in northern Kentucky.
Starting Saturday at 7 a.m. and continuing through Sunday at 9 p.m., the route will be restricted to a single lane from the Daniel Carter Beard, or Big Mac, Bridge to Route 27 in Highland Heights.
Construction crews will be installing reflective pavement markers during that time.
Long delays are likely and Kentucky transportation officials are urging drivers to find alternate routes.
This is scheduled to be the last weekend of work requiring restrictions on south 471.
The project is due to be completed later this month meaning the orange barrels will be gone and the speed limit will be restored to 65 MPH.
Meanwhile, traffic on westbound 275 near the 471 interchange will be reduced to a single lane Saturday for about a half-mile so pavement markers can be installed there too.
