Ryan, sans Romney, will rally the troops in Carthage Tuesday

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney won’t be with vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan Tuesday for the Cincinnati leg of their three-day bus tour of Ohio.

A spokesman for the campaign said Romney will join Ryan later in the day in Dayton.

According to the campaign website, Ryan will hold a rally at Byer Steel Group, 200 W. North Bend Rd., Carthage, late Tuesday morning. Details on RSVPs for the event are expected to be released Sunday.

Romney will then join Ryan in the afternoon at a rally at Fairmont High School in the Dayton suburb of Kettering.
Ryan kicks off the three-day bus tour with a rally Monday at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima.

The bus tour will wrap up Wednesday with stops in Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo.

The Obama campaign said Sunday that former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland will tail along behind the Romney-Ryan bus tour, holding events in all the cities to give the other side of the story.
