Workers will be taking delivery of a shipment of rails Tuesday as the Cincinnati streetcar project continues to move forward.
Race Street is going to be closed between 13th and 14th streets Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to accommodate the delivery.
There will be local access to nearby businesses and homes. Traffic will be maintained to Washington Park Garage via 13th Street.
The work is part of the first phase of the system, which will be a 3.6-mile loop extending from the Banks to Findlay Market through Downtown and Over-the-Rhine. The City of Cincinnati is planning to connect UC and Uptown neighborhoods and beyond in future phases.
