Ohio Auditor finds Five Ohio School Districts Using Questionable Attendance Policies

Bill Cohen, Ohio Public Radio

None of the Schools are in Southwest Ohio.  The districts at a Higher Risk for Scrubbing Attendance Data are Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, Marion and Campbell.  State Auditor David Yost released the prelimnary findings Thursday Morning.

No Greater Cincinnati Districts were on the list of schools using questionable policies, but several schools were categorized as indeterminate because of factors out of the auditor's control. The report says that means the schools are still gathering student information files, and other material to support enrollment.

Those schools include five Cincinnati schools including Chase Elementary, Oyler School and South Avondale Elementary, Three Hamilton City Schools including Hamilton High school, and Princeton High school.

North College Hill High School came up on the Clean list. You can find a link to the report on our website.
