Northern Kentucky company set to expand

A Northern Kentucky company is expanding its facility and hiring more workers.  Governor Steve Beshear announced Monday that Indy Honeycomb is adding 13 full-time jobs.  It's a $915,000 investment that includes doubling production space, adding office space and purchasing equipment.

The company makes metal honeycomb for military, commercial and industrial use, including parts for aircraft engines and power generation turbines.  Indy Honeycomb currently employs 29 people at its manufacturing plant in Covington.

The state has approved the company for performance-based tax incentives up to $200,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
