More 471 work this weekend

Provided

Get ready for another weekend of traffic delays on Southbound 471 in northern Kentucky.
Starting Friday evening, work crews will once again be working on the final pavement surface as a major reconstruction project begins to come to an end.

Starting at 10 p.m. Friday south 471 from near Grand Avenue to the U.S. 27 intersection in Highland Heights will be reduced to a single lane until Monday at 6 a.m.

Entrance and exit ramps may also be shutdown as pavement is placed in front of the ramps.

Officials are predicting long delays and they suggest you find alternate routes.

The entire project is officially scheduled to be completed by the first week of November.
