MidPoint Music Festival puts spotlight on Indie bands

MidPoint Music Festival kicks off Thursday night in Washington Park.

This year’s acts include Andrew Bird, Grizzly Bear and Freelance Whales. This is the 11th year for the music festival which aims to promote regional emerging artists. More than 150 bands will perform at 15 venues around Over-the-Rhine.

Twelfth Street will be closed between Vine and Walnut during the three day festival.
