Making And Celebrating Maple Syrup At Hueston Woods State Park

Oven Fresh on WIKIMEDIA.ORG

For 50 years now, Hueston Woods State Park has celebrated the craft and history of maple syrup production in Ohio with its annual Maple Syrup Festival. This year's event runs March 5, 6, 12 and 13 at the park, located near College Corner.

Here to tell us about the festival and what it takes to make maple syrup are Perry Gordon and Shawn Conner with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources at Hueston Woods.
