Kid-Friendly Exhibits Downtown
By Mark Perzel
Now that the kids are off for a couple of weeks, and you’re done with opening presents and spending money on presents, what will you do until school starts again? How about a trip to the library? And not just to check out books, but to enjoy a couple of exhibitions that even adults will enjoy. Mark Perzel talks with Patricia Van Skaik, manager in the Genealogy & Local History Department, and Kate Lawrence, program and exhibits coordinator with Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, about two exhibits on view through February 2013: Golden Legacy: Original Art from 65 Years of Golden Books and A Wonderland of Fairytales in the Peter G .Thomson Collection.
