Kenton County, KY, Celebrating 175 Years

Kenton County Kentucky is a mix of urban, suburban and rural areas, stretching north from Covington south to just past Fiskburg, with a population of approximately 160,000. Joining us this afternoon to  discuss the past and future of Kenton County, which is celebrating its 175th birthday this year, are Covington City Commissioner Jordan Huizenga; Paul Meier, mayor of Crestview Hills and chair of the Kenton County Mayors Group; and William Schneider, with the South Kenton Citizens Group, which focuses on issues that affect the rural, unincorporated portions of Kenton County, and works to implement the county’s Direction 2030 plan.

The Northern Kentucky Forum presents “Café with Kris: A Conversation with Kenton County Judge-Executive Kris Knochelmann,” on Monday June 29 at Gateway in Covington, from 8:00 to 11:00 am. Judge Knochelmann will begin his remarks at 8:30, and take questions afterward. To RSVP click here.
