Infertility Causes and Treatments

Many women and couples, after months or years of trying, find they can’t have a baby. Eleven percent of women between the ages of 15 and 44 in the US have difficulty getting pregnant or carrying a pregnancy to term, and millions of men are diagnosed each year with an infertility problem. Dr. Julie Sroga with the University of Cincinnati Center for Reproductive Health and Bethesda Fertility Center Medical Director Dr. Glen Hofmann talk about the causes of infertility, and how medical technology can help increase a person’s chances of conceiving a child.
