If you travel I-74 westbound to I-275 northbound what's known as the "Texas Turnaround" is about to become a big part of your life.
The turnaround, beginning Friday September 5th, allows drivers to make an extended U-turn to go northbound on I-275 during the 30 days the Ohio Department of Transportation has the ramps closed for work.
Here's how it works:
- Continue west on I-74
- Exit at SR 128
- Access far left lane for dedicated lane that carries traffic to I-74 eastbound and I-275 northbound
When the work is finished on this, the ramp from southbound I-275 to eastbound I-74 will be closed for 30 days, also using the "Texas Turnaround."
