Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati’s newest premiere, Freud’s Last Session, is a challenging imagination of what a conversation between the father of psychotherapy, Dr. Sigmund Freud, and visionary writer C.S. Lewis might be like. On this night in 1939, they meet and discuss life and death, God, love, sex, myth and more. The actors portraying Freud and Lewis, Barry Mulholland and Bruce Cromer, join Robyn Carey-Allgeyer to talk about this production and the challenges of portraying these two great 20th century thinkers.
