I got this message from jazz pianist and Cincinnati native Fred Hersch asking jazz fans to show some love:
"Though I am a bit sheepish in self-promotion, I wanted you to know that I have entered the world of social media in a big way. ;-) I have a wonderful young man, Jess Markowitz of The Golden Age, managing my Facebook site. Every day he posts a new audio clip from one of my recordings (including some unreleased material) or an interesting link to an article or interview. If you are are so inclined, I hope you will "like" me and share it with folks who might be interested. It's pretty cool."
