Food Trucks Now Popular in Town

The sight of food trucks is relatively new in town, but over the last few years the number of trucks and carts serving a variety of foods, from Korean tacos to pizza to grilled cheese, along with ice cream, crepes and waffles has grown. Cincinnati is now home to more than 30 mobile food operators. You’ll find them at farmers markets, business parking lots, and special events, like this weekend’s Taste of Cincinnati. Jeff Ledford, who with his wife Melissa owns and operates Catch-A-Fire Pizza, Peter Barton, owner of Cooper’s Crepes, and freelance writer and editor at Soapbox Media Caitlin Koenig, join us to explore the street food scene in Cincinnati. Caitlin’s story, Cincinnati food truck roundup published today on Soapbox Media.
