EcoSculpt to hold awards ceremony

Earlier in April, artists gathered in Washington Park to install their creations for the annual EcoSculptcompetition.  The sculptures are made from recycled materials as a celebration of Earth Day.

The awards ceremony will be held in Washington Park Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.  The judges, led by Cincinnati Council Member Chris Seelbach, will evaluate the sculptures based on conceptual design, creativity and implementation, and name first, second and third place winners, followed by the "People's Choice Award."

The official ceremony will also feature a performance by local Bluegrass and Roots band the Tadcasters, and a variety of earth-friendly vendors.

You can see several of this year's creations in the slide show above.
