The marathon bombings in Boston reminded us that violent Islamic extremism is everywhere, even on our own soil.
In this edition of America Abroad, we will learn what sort of person is most vulnerable to extremist radicalization and the ways that other countries such as Britain, have had success keeping young people out of the life. We will check in on our own efforts in such communities as Minneapolis, home to the largest population of Somalis in the country. And we’ll look at what more the U.S. should be doing to combat extremism both at home and around the world.
