"Going fast today," reads a post on @justcookin513, Just Cookin's Instagram account, showing specials wiped off the board as they sell out.

Cincinnati City Council is expected to vote Thursday on an ordinance to provide $75,000 to help a West End business owner re-open in the neighborhood.
Monica Williams' Just Cookin' Catering was forced to close after FC Cincinnati bought the building she was operating in for its stadium project.

Williams had been in business for six years and had eight employees.

Council Member Greg Landsman helped broker the deal. He said in the interim, Williams will be working out of a food truck.

"That allows her to immediately get back to work, which is great and employs several people, which is also great and good for the city, good for the neighborhood, while she looks for a permanent location," Landsman said.

Landsman said the food truck will allow her to serve her existing customer base, and is also located where she'll be able to serve construction workers who will be building the FC Cincinnati stadium.

The city's money will be pooled with funds from FC Cincinnati and the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.

The Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio will hold those dollars in a trust fund until Williams identifies a new location and plans for opening it.

Council requested an agreement with Just Cookin' be finalized before taking a vote on a zone change needed for the FCC stadium.

The team and the Cincinnati Ballet are reportedly close to a deal too, which council also set as a requirement for a zoning decision.
