Keep Cincinnati Beautiful is teaming up with the Ohio Department of Transportation for a clean-up project Saturday focusing on the city’s dirtiest entrance and exit ramps on Interstates 71 and 75.
Volunteers are asked to report to the ODOT location at 1400 Seymour Avenue in Cincinnati by 10:30 a.m.
Groups of 10 to 15 volunteers will be assigned to an area along the highways and will work alongside an ODOT crew member to pick up litter and clean green space.
The event is schedule to be complete by 2 p.m. and then there will be an after party at the Northside Tavern.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old with a parent or guardian present if under 18. Groups of any size are welcome. You can register online if you’d like to help.
Officials say Cincinnati is the gateway to Ohio and millions of people travel along I-75 and I-71 every week, so the city needs to make a good impression.
