Blackwell, a former assistant police chief in Columbus, took over the Cincinnati Police Department in September.

A press release from the Cincinnati Police Department said the town hall meetings will be "an opportunity to introduce Chief Blackwell and the new district commanders to the community, as well as to hear from community stakeholders on neighborhood issues and concerns throughout Cincinnati's 52 neighborhoods."

All five meetings will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

District 1: Thursday, January 9 at River of Life Church at 2000 Central Parkway.

District 2: Tuesday, January 21, Medpace Inc., 5475 Medpace Way

District 3: Wednesday, January 8, Elder High School Schaeper Center, 3900 Vincent.

District 4: Tuesday, January 14, Church of the Resurrection, 1619 California Ave.
