Chabot and Wenstrup will work to get the budget under control

First district Congressman Steve Chabot has been re-elected for a ninth term. He says he's willing to work with President Obama, if Mr. Obama is willing to work with Congress.

"We need to do what's right for the country and it's a whole lot better if you have a President working together. The President wasn't particularly interested in working with a Republican Congress recently in the last couple of years and hopefully that will change."

Chabot says Congress has to get the budget under control, get the economy moving again and get people back to work.

There is a new congressman in Ohio's second district. Brad Wenstrup has been elected to his first term.

"Here we are. It's a little bit surreal because it's lasted so long as these things do but we're excited for the challenge. Definitely (we) feel we have something to offer and I feel ready to go."

Wenstrup says he's been working for 17 months for this day.
