The Cincy Blues Fest will be held Friday and Saturday, 8/2 and 8/3.  George Hibben from Rookwood Pottery will talk about Rookwood’s collaboration with the Cincy Blues Society to create a Rookwood stein that’ll be on sale at the Cincy Blues Fest.

There will also be music on the blues special from the Honey Island Swamp Band who’ll be performing at the Cincy Blues Fest.

Mr. Sastre and Mr. Leighton also performed three songs live in the studio.

Louisiana slide guitarist Sonny Landreth, blues legend BB King, and David Hidalgo from Los Lobos are also on the bill. During this one-hour special, there’s a song by Sonny Landreth and an interview of Peter Frampton by Brian O’Donnell.

The blues concerts continue at the PNC Pavilion on Friday, August 16th, with Buddy Guy along with George Thorogood and the Detroyers.  A song by each performer will be featured on the special.

And finally, a number of bands including Ten Years After, the Edgar Winter Band, and Canned Heat are included in the Rock ‘N’ Fest show at Fraze Pavilion in Kettering on Sunday, August 18th.  A song by Canned Heat will conclude the one-hour blues August special.
