This coming Saturday night, January 31st, at 11pm, The Blues will begin with a just-released collaboration of Gov't Mule and John Scofield from their new cd, Sco-Mule. "Hottentot" will be followed by Miles Davis's "Tutu" and Joe Cocker's "Respect Yourself." The second set will feature Keb'Mo, Eric Bibb, and Cyndi Lauper.
And, the third set is a commentary by music historian Dave Lewis on the musician Bix Beiderbecke who was born in 1903 in Davenport. Dave's research details Bix Beiderbecke's connections to the Cincinnati area.
