This week on the Blues, Saturday night at 11 o'clock on June 13th, you'll hear the great BB King doing "Early in the Morning" with help from Van Morrison. You'll also hear from the Neville Brothers in the first set.
The second set features Jorma Kaukonen, the Blind Boys of Alabama and Curtis Salgado. Jorma's Acoustic Hot Tuna band is on tour this summer. He'll be performing at his Fur Peace Ranch on July 25th, and the Electric Hot Tuna band will be on stage August 1st at the Fur Peace Station. The July 25th gig is a free solo show on the lawn, and the August 1st performance is already sold out.
The third Blues set starts off with the High Street Rhythm Rockers who are no longer together, the Bluebirds, and the Derek Trucks Band. The Tedeschi Trucks Band will be peforming at the PNC Pavilion at Riverbend on Friday, June 26th. It's called the Wheels of Soul Summer Tour 2015 with Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings and Doyle Bramhall II.
And finally, iconic jazz vocalist Billie Holiday ends this edition of the Blues with the classic, "My Man."
