Be at The Woodward Theater on February 6 for great local music AND support 91.7 and 88.5

Local musical artists The Mitchells, RicHordinski, and Daniel Martin Moore are teaming up for a great evening of music on Friday, February 6 at The Woodward Theater, located at 1404 Main St. in Over-the-Rhine. As friends of 91.7, all three have agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from this concert to WVXU!

The Mitchells released their self-titled debut album in May 2014 after appearances at both the Bunbury and MidPoint Music Festivals. This "nuanced indie pop" group have been described as "a band of storytellers that weave their tales with orchestral sensibilities while demonstrating that they are unafraid to cut loose and let their rock roots show."

Ric Hordinski has established himself as an icon of the local music scene and also runs Monastery Studio in Walnut Hills where he records and produces albums for many local bands.  When he is not playing or recording music, Ric also provides in-depth interviews with musicians and bands for WVXU's Around Cincinnati.

Daniel Martin Moore is a Northern Kentucky native with international acclaim.  Moore recorded his 2011 album In the Cool of the Day here in the Cincinnati Public Radio Corbett Studio and has been a featured artist on NPR Music several times.

Tickets for the February 6 show are available at cincyticket.com.  It is a great way to enjoy yourself, support three tremendous local acts and support public radio at the same time.
