Kenton County holds tire disposal program

Kenton County residents can get rid of old tires for the next three days as the county hosts the Tire Amnesty.  There's no limit on how many you can bring in and they can be on or off the rim.  Foam filled tires, off-road construction and equipment tires, and solid tires with pressed-on rims or tires larger than tractor size won't be taken.

The tire disposal program runs through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Kentucky State Highway Facility, 3923 Highway 17, Covington.
