Two dozen people spoke at a public hearing Monday night on a proposal to lease some of Cincinnati's parking facilities to a private operator.  And all but a couple of them were opposed to the plan. 

Chad Weldishofer owns Queen City Crossfit in Downtown.  He's concerned about the possibility of high rates at parking meters near his business.

Cincinnati administrators now say in a report they've found a cheaper way to install public sidewalk restrooms that some Council Members are asking for.  

Officials say they've found a galvanized steel facility starting at $35,000.  That compares to about $100,000 for the "Portland Loo" officials first considered.  

Many people have watched as the Broadway Commons was transformed from a parking lot into a $400 million casino complex that is planning to open its doors to the public next Monday.

What they may not have noticed is that the casino project has transformed the long-neglected neighborhood of Pendleton, just across Reading Road from Horseshoe Casino.
