Cincy Council ready to vote on Music Hall lease

Cincinnati Council's Budget and Finance Committee will likely approve a lease agreement Monday to allow the long awaited renovation of Music Hall to move forward. 


The city's planning commission approved the issue Friday.

EcoSculpt 2013

EcoSculpt 2013 has arrived in celebration of Earth Day. Artists are chosen to build a sculpture made entirely out of recycled materials.  The works are being displayed at Washington Park until April 26th.  Visitors can vote on their favorite sculpture. The winners will receive cash prizes.

Fired NKU athletic director had inappropriate relationships with subordinates and student

Northern Kentucky University says fired athletic director Scott Eaton had inappropriate, intimate relationships with four university employees, including two women he supervised, and one student in a class he taught.

Hamilton County recycling by the numbers

Mariemont, Wyoming and Montgomery are Hamilton County's top three recycling neighborhoods.

The Recycling and Solid Waste District reports the average household recycled 250 pounds in 2012. That's 14 percent of all waste generated.

A recent study suggests 40 percent of what Hamilton County sends to the landfill could be diverted by recycling.

Rounding out the top ten recycling communities are Terrace Park, Madeira, Blue Ash, Indian Hill, Glendale, Loveland and Evendale.
