In the repository or "Room of Drums" at Wright Patterson Air Force Base 55 gallon barrels of fuel from all over the world are stored. There are liquid fuels made of coal from South Africa. There's also one made from camelina, a weed. Others come from animal fat. Some have been tested on cross country flights.
Orange barrels and lane shifts are now in place on southbound 471 as a major reconstruction project gets started. That's likely to slow the evening commute for drivers leaving downtown Cincinnati for northern Kentucky and the east side.
But those delays will likely grow even longer in July when work starts on repairing the deck of the Daniel Carter Beard, or Big Mac, Bridge.
So, is the election system in Hamilton County rife with fraud, with people voting twice and voting from fictitious locations and even casting ballots for dead people?
Well, yes and no.
Over the past several months, the Hamilton County Board of Elections has investigated dozens of cases of what they have called “voter anomalies.” But not enough to change the results of the election; and apparently not in any organized way.
