He was the principal clarinetist for the <strong>Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra</strong> for many years, and during that time, he founded the <a href=""><strong>Linton Chamber Music Series</strong></a>. But what many did not know was that, starting in 1974, he began painting as a stress reliever from his work with the symphony. Now, in retirement, he’s decided to begin exhibiting his paintings. Sunday afternoon will be the opening of <a href=""><strong>Music at an Exhibition</strong></a>, showcasing over 100 of his works, at the<a href=""> <strong>Clifton Cultural Arts Center</strong></a>. Her multimedia sculpture,<em><strong> You Are Looking for Something That No Longer Exists</strong></em> was recently on view at the <a href=""><strong>Urban Institute of Contemporary Art</strong></a> in Grand Rapids, Michigan as part of their annual<strong> ArtPrize</strong> exhibition.</p><p> Fri, 28 Dec 2012 05:32:20 +0000 Jane Durrell 7439 at Artist Alice Pixley Young Dr. Seuss: The Cat Behind the Hat <p>Miami University alum <strong>Bob Chase</strong> is the publisher of a new book that takes readers into the world of one of the most popular authors ever, the magical <strong>Dr. Seuss</strong>. <a href=";ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1354797522&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=the+man+behind+the+hat"><strong>Dr. Seuss: The Cat Behind the Hat</strong></a>, was written by <em><strong>Caroline Smith</strong></em> and is a collector’s item for the Seuss and Geisel lovers.
