A registered Flying Pig participant is charged with Carrying Concealed Weapon /Failure to Inform Law Enforcement Officer and Menacing by Stalking.

In a release Thursday, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said the Cincinnati Police filed the charges against 49-year-old David Moore.

Widespread vote fraud - real or imagined?

So, is the election system in Hamilton County rife with fraud, with people voting twice and voting from fictitious locations and even casting ballots for dead people?

Well, yes and no.

Over the past several months, the Hamilton County Board of Elections has investigated dozens of cases of what they have called “voter anomalies.” But not enough to change the results of the election; and apparently not in any organized way.

Will dozens more double-voters be prosecuted?

Republicans and Democrats on the Hamilton County Board of Elections are split over a county prosecutor’s opinion which says dozens of voters who cast two ballots in last year’s election should be referred for potential criminal prosecution – even though the board has already exonerated most of them.

Grand jury does not indict Dez Wells

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters is asking Xavier University to revisit the situation that prompted it to expel basketball player Dez Wells.

A grand jury has decided not to indict Wells over allegations of sexual assault. Deters says an independent review was presented to the grand jury yesterday.

As a freshman, Wells started in 32 games last season and was the fourth leading scorer. He would have been Xavier's only returning starter.
