The Tri-County Economic Development Corporation reports 24 companies announced new locations or expansion projects last year, creating nearly 3,774 jobs.</p><p>Boone County Judge Executive and Tri-Ed Chairman Gary Moore says that's pretty good given the economic situation.</p><p>"This is the fourth highest as far as job creation... in our 25 year history," he says. "It's the seventh highest in capital investment.
