One sure way to get a job these days is to be a "Big Data" specialist. These are the people who can interpret massive amounts of information and tell businesses how to use it to make money. It's a very specialized set of skills involving computer science, business and statistics. The Harvard Business Review says the dominant trait among data scientists is an intense curiosity. WVXU's Ann Thompson, in Focus on Technology, reports what it takes to be one and about NKU's efforts to begin a new Bachelor's Degree in Data Science this fall.

dunnhumbyUSA building new HQ & preparing for future growth

Construction is just getting underway on dunnhumbyUSA's new office building at the corner of Fifth and Race in downtown Cincinnati.

City Council could vote Wednesday on a modified agreement that would let the firm eventually expand at the site.

Chad Munitz is with 3CDC, which is helping to develop the project. He said the latest document does a couple things.

Employees of dunnhumbyUSA and community leaders gathered at the corner of Fifth and Race in Cincinnati Thursday morning for the groundbreaking ceremony for the company's four-story headquarters.

The $100 million development will include a 1,000- space parking garage and 35,000 square feet of commercial space.
