Farmers market expanding, seeking vendors

Over-the-Rhine's freshly renovated Washington Park will host a farmers market throughout the summer.

The Washington Park Farmers Market will be Mondays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. from June 3 through August 26. Organizers chose Monday because it's the one day of the week nearby Findlay Market is closed.

3CDC, which operates the park, is looking for vendors. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, April 26.

Cincinnati's Fountain Square lights up tonight

Cincinnati will officially welcome the holiday season Friday evening with the Light Up the Square event.

The holiday decorations and the tree on Fountain Square will be turned on for the first time.

Festivities will begin at 6PM, with live music from Eclipse and the Cincy Brass, and a special performance by SCPA’s musical theater group.

Revelers can also expect special appearances from the likes of Drew and Lea Lachey, as well as Santa Claus.

Fountain Square will also feature plenty of food, music, ice skating and a fireworks show.

Cincideutsh Christkindlmark on Fountain Square
