Cincinnati has always been fertile ground for amazing choral music, starting with the May Festival, Vocal Arts Ensemble and, now, a unique chorus that offers young professionals in our area not only a chance to sing, but to be involved in our community and meet new people. KellyAnn Nelson, the founder and director of the Young Professionals’ Choral Collective (yp/CC) is in the studio with Mark Perzel to talk about how the group started, what its mission is, and their upcoming Black & Blues Gala on February 16.

Titans of the music industry, Columbia Records, is celebrating its 125^th Anniversary with the release of the book 360 Sound: The Columbia Records Story by Grammy-nominated author Sean Wilentz. He joins Brian O’Donnell to talk about the amazing artists who have recorded for Columbia Records: from Al Jolsen to Billy Joel; from Phillip Glass to Dixie Chicks. He also talks about the late, great Andy Williams and his connection to Cincinnati.
