Come wander through our conifer trail as volunteers share food and holiday traditions from eight different countries. Our conifer trail features trees from Russia, Turkey, and Greece. We even feature the incredibly rare Szechuan Spruce from China! Groups will leave at 5:00, 5:45, and 6:30. The walk will end with a ceremonial tree planting led by the Richmond Parks Department’s Traci Lewis celebrating the Jewish tradition of Tu BiShvat, the New Year of the Trees. The conifer trail will be open from 6:30-7:15 for anyone who wishes to walk through without a group. Afterwards, you can warm up in our Sap House. We will be serving hot chocolate, as well as international holiday dishes.
